PMT 1 Registration Fee Scholarship!

Pioneer Missionary Training in Mexico
Scholarship available from SWORD to cover cost of registration fee ($350) for one young adult! The selection will be based on the following PMT application form questions: “Do you feel there is a certain area of ministry that God is calling you to?” and “How will this ministry experience complement/enhance your calling?” Make sure you note on the PMT application form that you are applying for the SWORD PMT 1 Scholarship. This scholarship is available to COG7 members ages 18-35 in the United States and Canada.

What is Pioneer Missionary Training (PMT)?
Pioneer Missionary Training (PMT) is a program hosted by the Mexican General Conference of the Church of God (Seventh Day), and facilitated by the Missions, SWORD, and NFYC ministries of the North American General Conference. Participants learn the concepts of evangelism to the unsaved through the context of classroom training and the hands-on experience of serving in an impoverished "two-thirds world" country. It is a cross-cultural training opportunity you won't want to miss!
This short term Mission Trip is designed as an introductory course in foreign missions work. This year's team will be traveling to the area of Monterey, Mexico during the dates of December 23, 2007 - January 1, 2008.
